Prairie Fox Books is an independent bookstore located in Ottawa, IL at the confluence of the beautiful Illinois and Fox Rivers. Opened in 2016 in a lovely, renovated space, the store is a family-owned labor of love featuring books for readers of all ages. From children’s books to adult best-sellers, cookbooks to self-help, and a wide array of eclectic gifts and merchandise, Prairie Fox Books has what book lovers are looking for. We also host author and community events to inspire and create a community gathering space for book lovers of the area.
